Wood Or Steel Shelving Solutions

If you are looking to buy shelves you will basically have two different options. You can go for something made out wood or something made out of steel. Prices will vary so you can choose solely based on the price and if you are thinking that some might carry a heavier load than the other that isn’t really the case. Both wood and steel storage shelves will be able to carry most of what you can think of placing on them. Normally the weak link will be the wall that the shelves are mounted to and the heavier the load the stronger the wall will have to be. If you are planning on storing very heavy items you should consider finding some kind of cabinet solution or at least something that will not be mounted to the wall but instead be placed on the floor.
