What does a wedding band mean to you? Some people feel that the band is much more important than the actual engagement ring because they feel that it holds more meaning. The wedding band or eternity rings symbolized forever, eternity. It means that the couple will forever be faithful to one another and stand by each other’s sides. These rings are important to people. The sparkle catching the light tells others that the wearer is taken and not to think that they can be too friendly to them. This is important to people because it helps identify those who are married and those who are not. The ring has been a part of cultural tradition for hundreds of years. This is why it is a major mistake for one to take the ring off in public, or worse loose it. It makes the spouse wonder what the reason for this was.
