Vintage Home Office Designs

Vintage home office designs are very feminine and you can even use red curtains or lined curtains in it. This is perfect if you are working in a guestroom or even a sewing room and you want to get a cohesive look. This may be the only room in the house that is just yours. You may be able to just decorate this room in any way you want. You can really celebrate this with a lot of different feminine design options. You may just be able to decorate this room for a few hundred dollars because it does rely so much on thrift store finds. Of course you will need to do a few DIY and craft projects. However, it’s going to give you a functional work area that’s going to be a lot more unique than if you just went to a furniture store or office supply store and spent a few thousand dollars.
You can try going with a vintage style of floral wallpaper but just really go with more of a modern kind of color. This may be a robin’s egg blue instead of the basic pink. It can even bring in gray tones. However, be aware that this will really make a big impact. You don’t need to use this on every wall because this can be very expensive and very overwhelming. Instead, you might just want to try this on the back of your bookshelves. You could also just compliment your focal wall.
You should also really bring a chandelier into this kind of space. This is going to give you a very opulent air, although you may need to go with a mini style chandelier. If you don’t have very high ceilings you could even give this a shabby chic look by hanging stained glass crystals from it that will coordinate with the rest of your color palette and then spray paint your metal fixture white. Black and brass are going to be to jarring for this kind of effect.
