Various Fabrics For Patio Cushions
Posted by GuestPoster in -The Great Outdoors
It is patio season in most of the country. Some places are a bit more open to the idea, while others are starting to heat up a bit much during the day. If you live in the desert southwest and own wrought iron patio furniture, now is the time to get your patio cushions. That 100 degree plus on that black metal will brand your family and your guests before they can say ouch. You can even find a southwest patio cushion style if that is what you are into.
One thing you will want to do for sure is to check into the UV resistant patio cushion fabrics. These will help you get more life out of your cushions and more enjoyment from your pocketbook. You don’t want to have to replace those cushions every season due to the sun, heat and dust. There are several brands touting this UV resistance, but you have to credit Sunbrella(TM) with really bringing it to the forefront.
If you live in other parts of the U.S., then you may be ready for some outdoor patio cushions as well and don’t need quite so much UV protection (while still beneficial) it just may be less of a concern than moisture. You too can find help from certain patio cushion fabrics that are more moisture wicking and quick drying. Remember, the fabrics are one aspect and then there are the patterns. Most manufacturers have many styles of both fabric and patterns to choose from that can meet most any tastes.
