A grout is used to fill the gaps between tiles. Usually tile grouting is done upon installation of tile. It will help in protecting your tile from damage and make your tile last longer. However, right after installing and grouting the tile, the most important thing to do after is to seal your grout. A grout sealer will contribute a lot of advantages to your tile. Or you to understand how the grout sealer works, you should first understand why there is a need to put one. Sometimes you will tell yourself not to seal grout anymore because it will be an extra cost of money for you. Your tile grout is a very porous material, just like a sponge, that will absorb anything that comes to the surface of it. The absorbed material will stay in the grout lines for a period of time and will eventually cater to molds and bacteria which will eventually damage your tile. If you tile is damaged, then you have no choice but to replace it. And when replacing your tile, you have to buy the materials and pay for someone to install the tile for you. You can actually do the installation yourself, but if you don’t have much time, then it would be better to get a professional to make the installation process quick. Why spend money on something that you can control from the start, like taking care of your grout? No that is a waste of money. Also, the good thing about grout sealing is it will make your tile look good. It will also prevent tile discoloration. When your tile is sealed, it will be easier for you to clean. You no longer have to do extensive brushing to remove stains and dirt. All you need to do is to just wipe it with a wet cloth but make sure to let it dry after.
