The Mystic Canopy Bed

What do you get if you mix a hippie with a lot of plush fabric, an old four poster bed and some disturbing imagination? Well, a mystic canopy bed of course. Now I can’t think of any piece of furniture less suited to the hippy mentality than a canopy bed. And perhaps it’s fair to say that my friend Suzy probably isn’t a fully fledged hippy, more of the part time variety. After all I tried to explain to her that back in the day the canopy, or four poster, bed was rarely seen in the lowly homes of your local “stoner”. However Suzy assures me that the look she has created is quite authentic and truly suited to her way of being. Hmm I can’t help but think this particular hippie has ideas above her station.
