The Importance of a Good Sleeping Bag

There are many adults that have never been camping. They don’t have all of the camping gear and aren’t exactly sure just what to get. So they head down to their local Wal-Mart and pick out the cheapest sleeping bag on the rack only to go camping and have a miserable experience. If you are planning a camping trip, make sure that you aren’t Joe Schmoe planning to sleep in the Wal-Mart special.
It is important to pick the right kind of sleeping bag for the kind of camping that you plan on doing. Is it going to be hot or cold? Are you sleeping in a tent or out in the open? Are you backpacking in or will you be able to haul everything to your camp site in your truck? All these are important questions to answer before you pick your sleeping bag.
