The Benefits of the Blue Ray Optical Drive
Posted by admin in Comp & Tech
With the invention of high-def video, there has a been a craze for the ultra great picture that high-def provides. It all started with the HD-DVD disks that Toshiba invented for high-def, but it has ended in Blu Ray, which is now the standard for high-def video. Blue Ray DVD disks are a much better alternative to DVD because they do not degrade as easy and the picture is fantastic.
Blue Ray also comes in optical drive format for computers and are a much better alternative to CD or DVD for burning disks on the computer. The Blue Ray disk holds 5 times more data than DVD or CD. And it is named Blue Ray because an actual blu laser ray is used to burn data onto the disk.
It is much more convenient and ecomonical to have a disk that holds a lot more data and also does not scratch or degrade.
