Textbook Options

Most of you have heard by now that College students can save money on textbooks by going digital and buying e textbooks. I remember when I was in college textbooks would be a huge cost every semester. You can buy e textbooks and save about 50 percent in textbook costs. There are also open source projects going on to promote open source textbooks. One of these is open textbooks which promotes open-access textbooks. In theory this sounds wonderful, but if you go to the site the textbook selection is slim pickings. But this is still a young movement and it will gain momentum as time goes on. You can also download a student organizing kit at the site and send an open letter to your legislature.
