Finding a place to buy a custom motorcycle number plate has become pretty difficult these days as the UK government has cracked down on manufacturers. Its now illegal to sell a plate that doesn’t conform to the UK standards set out by the DVLA so your going to have to do some searching if you want to get a new bike plate that helps you stand out from the crowd.

You can actually find places online that can still sell you something that is original but the catch is that you have to complete the plate yourself. The retailer will send you a blank custom motorcycle plate and you have to apply a transfer with the lettering yourself. You might no get quite the same finish as from a professional but if you are struggling to find what you are looking for it might be the only option open to you.
