There are many acne tips for people that suffer from the problem.  A quick internet search will reveal tons.  It is hard to decide what to try.  If a visit to a dermatologist is not in the cards, then finding a remedy for acne is not easy.  It will take trial and error.

One tip that is difficult for many to accomplish is to not pick the pimple.  The advice is to leave it alone.  It will fester and finally go away on its own.  It may be painful for awhile but take heed these things do not last forever.  Another way to treat the problem is to make sure to clean the face or area very well a few times per day.  Keeping the area clean will discourage other pimples in the same area and prevent infection in the current pimple. Other than washing with warm water and soap, keep your hands away from the affected area.
