Solutions to Chest Acne Riddles

Chest acne can be a bit mysterious. Why exactly does exactly only form on our chests? There’s not a single other place on our body that has acne, but this one area. How do we stop it? There are many answers for this, but one of them is that you should not use a typical pimple cream unless you want to destroy your clothing or bedding (the chemicals stain or bleach fabrics), but that doesn’t mean you should give up hope. If you try addressing the causes of acne, there may lie acne relief.

One of the largest causes for chest acne is improper hygiene, but you shower everyday, right? It’s a bit more complicated than washing habits, but instead has to deal with our clothing choices. One very common cause of acne is that many clothes we wear do not allow sweat to evaporate from our skin. As we move about our daily chores, sweat builds and then is unable to escape. There it finds its way into our pores and the impurities in the sweat clog our pores. From there it’s only a matter of time before a pimple form. The easiest solution to this problem is switch from tight fitting clothing made of synthetic fibers to loose fitting clothes made from natural fibers.

Another cause for acne is abdominal fat. Researchers have found that people with excessive abdominal fat produce more androgens than people without. These androgens travel throughout our bodies and bind to the sebaceous glands causing them to produce more oil. As the oil builds up and becomes trapped against our skin, acne forms. The easiest solution for this problem is to go on a diet and exercise. Just remember to wash off after exercising or you’ll only aggravate the problem.

Treating chest acne doesn’t have to be a burden. There are preventative measures that won’t be immediately noticeable but in time will help prevent future break outs.
