Shower Inserts Solve Space Problems In Bathrooms

Posted by in -Home Improvement

A lack of space can be solved if you use corner shower inserts. Most homeowners find that the small bathrooms that they have can only accommodate one bathing feature. So they opt for practicality and settle for a combination of shower and tub, that is quite unattractive. Smaller children in the house make it necessary for the bathroom to have a tub. It otherwise makes more sense to have a stand alone shower. When a home has two bathrooms it is quite common to equip  them with a stand alone shower in the master bedroom and the other bathroom with the combination of shower and tub.

You can have everything
Shower inserts do away with the need to choose between showers and tubs. A separate garden tub that is quite small and a corner shower can both be accommodated in a bathroom because of the design that saves a lot of space. Maybe the linen closet may have to be dispensed with or dual vanities broken down to accommodate this space saver, but such designs that have a shower and a tub have a lot of value in real estate. It makes no sense to put up a tub in space that is not enough for it. You must make sure that the layout you have is functional.

Cost Is A factor
The price of corner shower inserts will depend on the quality of the material used. A price of three to seven hundred dollars is the range in which fiberglass shower inserts sell, though you can find cheaper or pricier inserts in this material. It is possible to purchase just the inserts or go in for kits that will have shower doors and other hardware as part of the kit. Tile shower inserts are far more expensive and this is due to to the better looks and the manufacturing cost of the tiles. Luxurious models with this material can be priced as high as two thousand dollars and you can get designs without frames or those that are meant for steam.

Space problems in a bathroom are easily solved by the use of shower inserts.  It is not necessary that you would have to remodel the home or bathroom just to use these shower inserts. Make the best of the area that you have by installing a corner shower.
