When setting up a new bar, there is a fair amount of stuff that you need to purchase to get it completely operational. This can be daunting for the beginner, as they make long lists of all the things that they will need to get their bar running properly. Many people will try and cut costs by buying each item individually and seeking out the best price that they can find. In the long term, however, this is going to not only cost you a tremendous amount of time, it’s also going to cost you more money.
The better alternative is to spend some time finding one supplier that can give you everything you need, and buying it all from the on place. If you go into a bar equipment supplies shop and tell them that you are stocking a bar from scratch, they will be all over you like a hot rash. Obviously if they can do right by you, you are going to end up spending a lot of money with them, which puts you in a tremendous bargaining position. Make sure that you haggle as much as you can, you have every right to.
