Protect Your Home from Ant Invasion

It is true that ants do not pick any special season to invade someone’s property. However, among all other seasons, summer is their favorite. Thus, during this time, you would see trails and batches of ants creeping their way into your home.
There is no doubt that ants are admirable creatures. They work together to feed and protect their colonies. However, their means are not always acceptable to other creatures- most especially with human beings.
With them around, you wouldn’t be able to leave your food on the table. If you do, even for a moment, then you can expect that it will be crowded with these critters. The worst is they do not just take away food. They also eat away curtains, table covers, bedding and towels. There is no safe place to hide these things when you are being invaded by ants.
Another annoying thing about them is they bite all the time. They will bite you even in the middle of your sleeping time. They also do not pick who to bite even your innocent and sleeping baby or pet. Although this is only a form of defense mechanism, it is very unreasonable.
Anyway, you can always protect your home, family and pets from them. But, not with chemical insecticides! These repellents have harmful side effects to babies and even animals. Although they are effective, their scent alone can upset the animals and even infants and make them feel sick.
The safer and cheaper way to protect your house against ant invasion is looking for recipes of homemade ant killers. Surely, your neighbor and even your mom have some recipes to share with you. The net is also a good source of tips or homemade solutions against ant infestations.
Another safe alternative is buying a natural ant repellent. These days, you can already find organic products in the supermarket and in the net. However, compare to the first alternative, organic repellents would cost you some bucks.
