Preparing Baby Shower Invitations
Posted by GuestPoster in Babies and Children
The birth of every baby is a memorable time. Since every pregnancy and baby are unique, the baby shower invitation is an important step when getting ready to enjoy your baby shower with family and friends. Thankfully printable baby shower invitations are completely customizable!
Invitations for a baby boy could be in a traditional form with bugs, dog, cars or following dad’s footsteps. For girls, it could be dolls, tea sets, sugar and spice. Of course, you would want to be sure of the baby’s gender before choosing your specific invitations. Imagine, if you will, sending out a load of pink invitations when you find out that you have just had a boy. Not the end of the world, but certainly a little confusing for your guests.
If the shower is happening after the birth, you will have the knowledge and experience of what becoming a mom or dad is like, and this may make the task a bit easier. It’s simpler sometimes coming up with baby shower invitation wording after baby is born. Try using Google for words and pictures, then describe them in your way. As a result you will have a plethora of words and images to use.
Another idea would be to find a poem in the library or find and hire someone to write the poem for you. You may be able to find a poet in your area to whom you might pay a commission for their words. Your invitations will be something you will cherish for years to come. You could even have the poem nicely framed and hang it in the nursery or your bedroom. The poem could be transferred to special paper and written in a fancy calligraphy of your choice. The child will love this poem during his or her childhood and remember it as an adult.
Remember that the party is about your baby, but it would be wise to consider your invited guests feelings when preparing for this special occasion.
