Generally the inert material of precast concrete paving slabs is made up of minute form of the sand with gravel or pebbles. It is important that the size of these material particles should be less than 6. 4 mm. Similarly the dimension of the coarse particle should not exceed one by fifth of the concrete particle that is used to manufacture the concrete paving slab.
The cement paste that is used in the manufacture of the concrete paving slab is also commonly referred to as the Portland paste. This cement paste will generally comprise of the water and the air in its natural form.
