Pop Up Camper Benefits

If you are looking into getting a camper, but are worried that your vehicle cannot pull a full-sized camper, a pop up camper might be the answer. Pop ups have been around for almost as long as cars and are a wonderful way to get into camping without great expense. Pop-up campers come in various sizes from tiny little 2 man campers right up to extended pop ups which can accommodate 8 people. Depending on the size, you will often find pop-up campers with full kitchens complete with 3-way fridges and gas cooktops. Many of the more expensive pop-ups also come with built in propane heaters and roof mounted air conditioners. The main shell of the camper is usually made of tin or fiberglass while the ‘pop up’ part is usually heavy canvas or nylon. While the fabric sides do not really provide a lot of insulating value, they are more than enough for 3 season camping. Plus it is the fabric that makes the units light enough to be towed by smaller vehicles. It is spring here now, and camping season is upon us – get yourself a pop up camper and get to it!
