Outdoor Weddings

Outdoor weddings are beautiful, elegant and often unpredictable. Mother nature plays a big part in the success or failure of any outdoor wedding. Rain, snow, wind or hail can ruin months of planning and the bride’s big day. Having a back-up plan on hand can save embarrassment and heartache. An alternate sheltered venue for the service and reception should be booked at the same time the outdoor location is chosen. Another idea for outdoor weddings is to rent a tent with flaps that can be zipped up if inclement weather should happen. If the weather is beautiful on the wedding day, the tent flaps can be removed, providing a covered pavilion for guests to mingle under. With a little extra preparation, an outdoor wedding can defy the weather.
