A traditional funeral usually is taken in action since the family of the departed wishes to spend time in mourning their loss and to accept the death of their beloved. This process would first undergo a few steps before reaching the point in which the departed can be visited other than just the family. One step that is taken to be serious is choosing the open casket which would best fit the characteristic of the dearly departed. A casket is not chosen just by random by the burial service, but is a choice that the family should make. Others would even customize their own design just to best fit their taste and to the taste of the departed in which the family believes so. A trip to a funeral home for the family can best open their decision for casket for there are a wide variety of designs and materials used for each casket that would best fit their choice.
