Memory Upgrades for Apple Computers

Apple Computers could arguably be the best computer currently on sale, regardless of notebook or desktop form when you consider the design, full MacOS operating system and compatibility with other Apple products such as the iPhone and iPod.
But one area where every Apple computer ever made is lacking is the amount of memory that these computers ship with. This applies to all current Apple computers such as the Apple iMac, MacBook Pro, MacBook and Mac Pro as well as every discontinued Apple computer over the years. Each and every one would benefit from adding more computer memory.
Most Apple computer arrive from the factory with just enough RAM to run the MacOS operating system and perhaps a few of the included Apple software such as iLife or iTunes, but if you need to run memory intensive products such as Adobe Photoshop or Final Cut Pro, then it’s advisable to buy memory upgrades for your computer for increased performance and stability.
Memory for Apple computers (and most other brands too) comes in two distinct styles and matching price points. For those wanting to buy the best memory they can from a name band manufacturer that offers memory and RAM upgrades that are guaranteed to work with their Mac and come with a lifetime warranty in the small chance there might be a problem with their RAM, buying memory from established memory manufacturers such as Crucial Technology or Techworks is recommended.
But if you want to save money on RAM, it’s advisable to consider buying memory from a reputable memory store that either makes or manufactures generic memory which is much cheaper memory than name brand memory with savings of up to 50%. With generic RAM, it’s important to buy memory from a store you can trust as their warranty will be in place and not the manufacturer’s.
