Madden 10 Review – New Difficulty Settings and New Animations

Madden is EA Sports longest running franchise, and with the release of Madden 10 earlier this August, the Madden franchise is shining more brightly than ever. I was able to get a copy of the newest Madden game, and wanted to share my thoughts with a Madden 10 Review and overview of all the new features. Although not the most ground breaking addition, but certainly the most surprising one for my, were the new difficulty settings break down and addition of various sub sliders. Despite staying pretty up to date with Madden 2010 development diaries, I had not heard anything about this aspect of Madden 10 being improved. You can now separately modify how the AI controlled players of your computer opponent, and the AI controlled players on your team. This goes a long way in fixing one of the longest running annoyances in the Madden series – making the computer opponent harder also made your AI teammates better.
To further customize difficulty in Madden 10, numerous sub sliders were added to previous difficulty sliders. “Pass Defense” for example, in addition to the interception and awareness sliders, now have “pass rushing” and “reaction time”. All these seemingly minor additions really add up, and you can read all the specifics in my complete Madden 10 Review at hubpages.
