LED Shower Heads For The Home

If you are looking for a new shower head, then you will find there is a great range to choose from, and with ranges such as LED shower heads bringing a great twist to the showering experience, there are endless possibilities. The style of shower head you choose will of course depend on the overall design of your bathroom, as you will want something that fits in well. The beauty of LED shower heads is that they look no different from a standard shower head until you actually start to use them, so you don’t have to worry about them looking out of place.
The LED lights themselves are set into the face of the shower rose, and are powered by the kinetic energy produced as the water flows past them. This means there is no need for any extra installation or linking up to a power source should you wish to use one. You simply install them in the same way you would standard shower heads. Available in both fixed and hand held versions, you will be able to find a style that fits in with your bathroom perfectly, and with no need to adjust your existing fittings in any way, unless of course you are choosing to upgrade from a hand held to fixed shower anyway. With different colour selections available, you can choose to have either one set colour, or a variety of colours, depending on your personal choice. It is possible to get temperature sensitive LED shower heads, that display a different colour depending on the temperature range of the water. For instance green light for water under 32°C, blue light between 33 and 41°C and red light when the temperature is 46°C and above, of course these colours may vary depending on the manufacturer, but this gives you a general idea.
You will also find there are some lovely LED units that just cycle through a rainbow of colours, as you shower, with no correlation to the water temperature. It is all dependant on what you think you will like best, and this is of course different for everybody. It might be that you choose a single colour rainfall shower head, as this will provide you with the relaxing, tranquil space you desire from your shower, on the other hand you might enjoy the invigorating experience of showering in a rainbow of colours. Whatever you decide on, you are sure to be able to find an LED shower head that suits you and your bathroom perfectly.
