Laser Hair Removal Cost Tips

The cost of laser hair removal is not always easy to ascertain. Different clinics and treatment centres will base the laser hair removal cost any many factors. Some may decide to assign a flat fee to a treatment for a certain body area. This is good in that you know what you’re going to be paying up front, but bad in that the price will have to reflect different peoples situations so you may be paying more than you need to.
Some clinics will charge you based on how long your treatment takes. Sometimes it’s something like how many 15 minute increments it takes to complete your treatment. This can be bad in that if you have an inexperienced technician they can take longer. The quality of the equipment they are using will also effect the time it takes, and perhaps one the biggest factors is your personal pattern of hair growth and how much hair you need to have removed.
Another popular method of charging for laser hair removal is a per pulse method. The lasers used in hair removal emit pulses to remove the hair. Each pulse takes a second or two, and some clinics will keep track of these pulses and charge you based on how many pulses it took. This can be similar to charging you based on time in that if you get an inexperienced technician it may take more pulses than it really should. The good thing is that if you have very little hair to remove, it should take very few pulses.
Obviously there are other factors that effect laser hair removal cost, so make sure you do your research and ask as many questions as you can before deciding on a treatment option.
