Hollywood movies have always captured the imagination of the people, whether it be a movie about dreams or a person falling in love, it is always certain that these movies will become memorable to people.
This is also evident in movies which has a plot about thieves or a heist movie. And the most common factor in heist movies is the presence of the safety vault or picking a lock of a door. But these movies are often taken from real life experiences and gadgets, thus, there are new inventions and technologies available to the public that has state of the art protection systems.
These systems vary from the designs and purposes, but the most common feature that it offers is the safety and the peace of mind that it brings knowing that one is safe or that the important articles that are behind the safe’s doors are secure and are hard to access.
Some of the common gadgets or technologies for security are the deadbolt locks and the biometric access control system.
The deadbolt locks security system is a type of security feature that is gives more protection than that of the regular door locks that are often seen at home. These locks use a deadbolt system which is superior as to that of the spring lock system that normal homes have. The advantage of this is that the deadbolt system cannot easily be opened with the use of picks as the tumblers inside the lock system would only open correctly if one would posses the proper key, as opposed to the spring lock system wherein one can employ the use of picks to trick the lock into thinking that there is a key that was used when in fact there were none.
The biometric access control system on the other hand, operates without any key needed; all that is needed is either the fingerprints, retina, or voice, or at times all of the above, to open the locks. This is the type of security feature or system that is often depicted in movies. However, the tricks shown in movies are proven to be fruitful if one were to try them as the developers of this security system made counter measures to ensure that a simple movie trick would not be able to crack the security system that they have. Moreover, with the freedom of being keyless, the owner can easily access the premises or the vault in a short while and also allows the owner freedom from being burdened to carry a key around.
