Is The Futon Mattress Going To Replace The Traditional Bed?

Futon mattress companies are making a run at becoming the new favorite if you ask anyone who has one. It is just one of those natural evolving industries. At one point, the conventional mattress would have been the shoe in for the most well-made and comfortable bed. Not so anymore. Now you can get a futon bed with many of the same if not very similar features associated with the ‘regular bed’.
So, whether or not the traditional bed is doomed or not is any one’s guess. But, judging by their recent boom in popularity again, it is a telling sign. Add to this the fact that people are choosing function and cost over indulgence for specific household items and you see the problem facing the traditional bed folk. It would be one thing if the futon was an inferior product or built with less quality craftsmanship. However, this is not the case with the new styles of futon mattresses.
