Investing Offshore

There is a lot of hype around offshore investment. But are there valid reasons to substantiate the advantages these places are supposed to bring to you? Well, there are definitely a few clear advantages. One of them is that the investment accounts offer more maneuver space, as the government regulations are less strict. This may be more or less important, depending on what your activity is. In the case of hedge funds for example, this kind of freedom is very important, as they are by definition more aggressive an need such a context to reach their full potential.
But wait, is this kind of investment open to anybody? As long as you do have the money and you are able to pay for the due fees, then ths world opens up to you. However there are more advantages, but also some offshore investing watch-outs you should consider first.
