Increasing Personal Productivity

If you work from home, one thing you should do is work on increasing personal productivity. It’s great to be in a position where you don’t have to drive to a job everyday, but the one of the biggest challenges with working at home is that productivity can be quite low at times.

With so many things you can do at home that you can’t do at work, like watch TV, it’s easy to waste time doing unproductive things. Unlike a regular job at a company, you don’t have someone watching over your back. This gives you the chance to slack off and many people who work at home takes advantage of this way too much.

On any given day, you should know how many hours you actually spend time working. Your success will depend on it. All you have to do is just keep track of the amount of time you actually spend working. If you are a blogger, this means anything you do that doesn’t involve writing, researching, or marketing isn’t considered work. Finding out how much time you really spend working and you will have a better understand of how you can start increasing personal productivity.
