Most people don’t often think of curtain rods, but when it comes to adding a nice finishing touch to your windows the right curtain rod can really make a difference.
So how do you choose what style rod is right for you? A little common sense if required here. If you have a light airy room then a dark wooden rod is not going to fit in, so here are a few pointers to help you choose the right style for you.
Modern contemporary homes generally suit sleek metal rods, or even a slim line rod that is completely hidden by the curtains.
For a more traditional style room, wooden or iron rods with elaborate finials work well. Try and match the wood colors to other items in the room.
