Golf Detroit

Because of Detroit’s reputation for crime and industry it may be difficult to think of it in the same sentence as golf. However in and around the Motor City the golfing community is strong. Whether on business or vacation, consider spending a few days in and around Detroit to hit the links. If bringing family along there are plenty of enjoyable Detroit Resorts where the non-golfer can be pampered too.
Just ten miles outside of Detroit you will find Dearborn Hills Golf Course; a public course that is said to be the oldest course in Michigan. But as you arrive you’ll find old doesn’t mean bad. Completely renovated in 1991 it is listed as one of “Golf Digest’s” best places to play. Playing 18 on the weekend tops out at $37.50 with a cart, or $27 walking. Weekday prices are lower of course.
If you’re looking for a quick golf vacation with the guys, consider Detroit. Easy flight access and multiple enjoyable courses make it an underrated golf city.
