Gingham Crib Sets Add Charm

If you want to decorate your nursery with a classic pattern, gingham crib sets might be just the nursery crib bedding you need. Gingham has been around for years and tends to have fond memories for many folks. From that skirt you had as a child to that favorite family picnic blanket, this tried and true pattern is a crowd pleaser. It allows you the opportunity to decorate with all sorts of traditional items that hold fond memories from your childhood. It is available in so many colors that it works great in either a boy’s or girl’s room.
Classic gingham will always be red and white to a traditionalist, but it definitely does not have to be. Just imagine a little girl’s nursery all delicately detailed in pastel pink and white gingham. With soft white accents and fluffy cotton candy colored floor cushions, a pink patterned masterpiece could be absolutely stunning. For a baby boy, a red and white background accented with all sorts of fire trucks would be bold and dramatic. Switch out the red for a navy gingham and the impact would be fantastic. A nursery for a newborn that has not yet arrived could be done with green or chocolate brown gingham. Once you add solid color details you have a nursery perfect for a boy or a girl. The key is to not overdo it.
When deciding on accessories, go for softer tones to break up the harshness of the pattern. The muted tones make a nice juxtaposition against the straight lines. Items like floor cushions or bean bag chairs are perfect. Toss a cuddly stuffed creature onto the seating and you have a great look.
By keeping a focus on the overall impact of your chosen pattern, you can create a nursery with real impact. A well designed nursery really is the sum of all of its parts.
