During the Battle of Geonosis and the Clone Wars, the purpose of the Geonosian Battle Guard was to watch over their prisoners of war, in addition to watching over the terrifying monsters the Geonosians used to later kill their prisoners in their arenas for sport. The Genosians are an insect life-form that have some humanoid traits, such as biped motion. As common with all insects, the Geonosians have an exoskeleton that gives them added protection from external forces and they are an extremely strong for their size, somewhat like ants. You can also look at the LEGO R2-R7 figure, it would go great with your collection.
The Geonosians live in harsh environments and have cultivated a society whose sole purpose is to serve the top few that rule. It’s a caste system in which their cultural duties are not undertaken by the will of the individual, but conferred on them by birth. These factors, combined with an insect genetic code, have created a crude yet efficient people ready for battle and willing to do whatever they must to succeed.. They’re a people with little complexity of mind that enjoy nothing more than to inflict pain and suffering on others for fun. It can clearly be seen how the Geonosian Battle Guard Warriors are an enemy without mercy or shame.
The Star Wars LEGO Geonosian Battle Guard Warrior is green in color, has the painting of an exoskeleton on its torso and is adorned with a painted gold necklace that has a red jewel in the middle. These jewels are also found on the painted gold area that covers the lower half of their torso. They also come with snap on wings and a sonic blaster gun. The Geonosian Battle Guard Warrior can only be found in and the 4478 Geonosian Fighter Set. The 4478 Geonosian Fighter was released in 2003 and again in 2011. It is the only Star Wars LEGO set to include any Geonosian minifigures and droids. The set has (1) Geonosian Warrior, (1) Geonosian Pilot, and (2) Geonosian Battle Droid minifigs.
