The Sprint family locater isn’t free and you will have to pay $5.00 a month if you would like to use it but it is very powerful and you don’t have to install any software on your cell phone to use it. It is automatically configured to work with all Sprint and Nextel phones.
If the ability to be able to track a cell phone from a computer is appealing to you, you may want to download and install a cell phone tracking application onto your phone. If you have a smart phone, you’ll want to navigate your mobile browser on your smart phone to one of the free cell phone tracking applications. They are Google Latitude, Find My iPhone, Glympse, and MobiWee. Actually the Find My iPhone cell phone tracker is not entirely free. The application itself is free but it’s not capable of actually doing anything unless you subscribe to a service called MobileMe. If you want to subscribe to MobileMe it will cost you $99.00 a year. If you have an iPhone and would like to try Find My iPhone you can try the MobileMe Service for free for 60 days.
