Following Diets to Lose Weight

Let’s face it; we’ve all tried pretty much every diet available. I know I’ve tried as many as humanly possible. When faced with Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, The South Beach Diet, The Atkins Diet etc, it can be impossible to find diets to lose weight. But the good news is that many of those work wonders. The real trick is finding one that works for each person’s specific needs. For instance, I could never go with Atkins or South Beach because I refuse to give up bread.
For most people that are looking to lose weight, Weight Watchers is a great choice. While it’s not free, if you have about $60 to start and $40-50 a month it helps a lot. There is a great support system which many find enjoyable.
Jenny Craig is very expensive. If you have the money and buy frozen foods anyway, this is probably your best choice.
Atkins seems very unsafe to me, so I don’t recommend it. Recently I was chastised by someone that likes the diet a lot. More power to you, but personally I think its crap.
South Beach works for many women, but if you like breads or anything similar, it’s probably not going to work.
Whichever you choose, remember that there are diets that require zero sacrifices in food choices. It’s simply a matter of counting calories. There are also hundreds of free programs on the Internet.
