Fleet Insurance – Protect your Fleet

You just love all that praise you get when people get to see all your collections – from car racers, two-wheeled motor gears, and your most-loved personal branded cars. But once they are out of your eyes, you are never assured who could get to use them or, worst, steal them. Haven’t you tried to consider getting yourself a fleet insurance yet? If you don’t have any idea yet, a fleet insurance is a kind of auto insurance that you will need if you own a horde of vehicles. This is similar to what most people get when they want their cars insured. However, instead of getting one insurance policy per car, fleet insurance covers all the cars you own. This insures all your cars from damage, injury, or theft.
There are a few things to consider, though, if you are still about to get one.
First, your drivers must be fully licensed to drive the kind of vehicle you own. Huge truck and other vehicles need special drivers that have unique licenses, too. If the insurance company finds out that your driver is not licensed to drive the kind of vehicle you have, it is most probably that they would deny of covering you with your expenses in times of accidents.
Secondly, it would be very good to let your drivers engage in frequent driving trainings to engage them in better driving etiquettes and skills. This will even enhance your vehicle company’s awareness, safety and savings!
This kind of insurance also has three major categories: Third Party Insurance, Third Party Fire and Theft Insurance, and Comprehensive Fleet Insurance.
The Third Party Insurance covers your expenses when you are the one responsible for the damage for the other car. However, this will never cover your own vehicle. On the other hand, the Third Part Fire and theft Insurance is similar to the aforementioned category, however, it also covers your own car for fire and theft.
Lastly, the Comprehensive Fleet Insurance covers all that is mentioned above. It covers your own car and also the cars and properties that you have accidentally damaged.
