Fat Burning Foods: Down Three Pounds
Posted by GuestPoster in Personal Improvement
Down three pounds. I’ve lost three pounds this week. This is pretty amazing because I have a really hard time reducing, and I haven’t changed my eating habits at all…well, that’s not entirely true. I did add one thing to my weekly diet…jalapeno peppers. Jalapeno peppers? You ask. How could I have lost weight by simply adding (not eliminating) one specific food to my meals?
It’s a little known fact that certain peppers are effective fat burning foods. These spicy vegetables can really give your metabolism a boost; they can speed up your heart weight by up to twenty-five percent. Jalapeno peppers contain a chemical called Capsaicin. This chemical, when eaten, releases stress hormones and that, in turn, use energy which is manifested in weight loss. Capsaicin also has thermodynamic properties; these can reduce the body’s cholesterol levels.
And so, by complimenting the meals that I’d prepared all week with diced jalapeno peppers, I actually increased the amount of calories that I burned each day. Some chile peppers are negative calorie foods as well as fat burning foods. It has been recorded that, by including them in your diet regularly, you will trigger weight loss.
And so, that was all it took for me to lose three pounds in just a week. I made no other changes to my diet. I normally prepare a big salad or a vegetable soup for lunch, Last week, to my salad of canned tuna, grape tomatoes, sliced cucumbers and mushrooms, I tossed in a handful of diced jalapeno peppers. To my homemade chicken vegetable soup, I added some minced peppers. Broiled chicken topped with fresh salsa (diced tomatoes, cilantro, lime juice and, of course, diced jalapeno peppers).
Not only did this wonderful fat burning food help me to lose weight, but my meals were tastier than ever. I plan to continue cooking with jalapeno peppers, and, hopefully, losing more weight.
