Enjoy Succulent Lamb Chops on a Portable BBQ Grill

Basic outdoor cooking equipment like a portable BBQ grill is more than enough to give you succulent lamb chops. It’s just a matter of knowing what to do with your chops and grill.
Turn your portable BBQ grill open and wait for its temperature to rise sufficiently for grilling. This is a very important step. If your grill is not hot enough and you start cooking your chops, you won’t be able to seal its juices in. You’ll then end up with dry and bland-tasting lamb chops.
Another reason why you need a hot grill is to ascertain that all pertinent sides and parts of your meat are cooked. Even if your family likes their meat rare, you have to remember that rare is not synonymous to raw. Fish may be served raw as sashimi but raw meat can’t be served similarly. It may even be severely dangerous to one’s health and especially to pregnant women.
When your grill is hot enough, you can start grilling your meat. Let it grill for four minutes. Afterward, you can flip your chops so that the other side would start cooking. Use a flipper or tongs. Use anything except utensils like forks, knives, or anything that would pierce your chops and release the juices you’ve so painstakingly tried to seal inside it. If you accidentally pierce your chops, it won’t matter that you’ve used a hot grill. The juices will dry out and you’ll end up once again with dry and bland-tasting lamb chops.
Allow the other side of the chops to grill for four minutes as well. You can however allow it to stay on the grill a bit longer – maybe two more minutes, tops – if you want your meat well done.
Before you take your chops out, test the firmness of the meat. If they’re springy then you’ve done a great job. Congratulations!
