Double Air Mattresses: Why Doubles Are Better Than Singles

Although not many people may know this, there are actually are several different sizes of air mattresses. Air beds can come in the regular mattress size that most people are familiar with, but there are also double air mattresses. These can come in “twin,” “king,” or “queen” size, and are often two to three times larger than a typical one person air mattress. These models can also support far more weight and have the ability to give good body support and offer a comfortable sleep at the same time.
There are several reasons that double air mattresses are better than the regular models. Just a few of these reasons include:
- Supports much more weight comfortably – can usually even support two people
- Looks nicer – plus the added elevation makes it easier to add sheets, blankets, etc.
- Much more comfortable for visiting house guests
- More durable – should last far longer than a regular
These are just a few of several reasons that the double air mattress really holds up above and beyond what the more common normal sized models can offer.
