Block foundation crack repair must be detected and done as early as possible. Use brush to clean dust or dirt from the cracks. You can also spray it with air to thoroughly eliminate dust. This will enable your adhesive to adhere stronger. Now, coat the crack with adhesive and fill the crack with concrete compound. Let it dry for 24 hours. Basements cracks often times cause leak. There are basement crack repair kits that will equip you with everything you need in the repair. They are expensive and you may want to opt to buying each material needed in hardware stores. The number of tube of sealants you need will depend on the sizes of cracks. Fill in cracks with sealants and leave to dry. Make sure the sealants are completely dry before using sand paper on it. After you have sanded and even out the sealants on the cracks, you may apply paint.
