After acquiring a new dog you will need to think of all the important aspects of day to day dog care that need to be carried out. Everything from feeding and exercise to dog grooming. Another key element is dog training. As well as needing to come and sit your dog will need to be trained to use its dog kennel.
Dog kennels are a vital way to ensure that your dog feels safe, secure and comfortable. They act as a safe haven where he can go to sleep or escape from the hustle and bustle of family life. Start by ensuring that there is a comfortable cushion or blanket for him to lie on and then put in some of his favorite toys. By making the kennel part of his home you can then use it as somewhere to put him when you don’t want him under your feet or if nervous visitors arrive. Never use the kennel as a form of punishment or he will come to have bad associations with it.
