Have you ever wanted to just get some straight up information about something, quick easy and to the point? Well, I do all the time. This is why I both love and hate the internet. I love it because it can give me answers very quickly. I hate it because some of the stuff you read is total drivel or a complete waste of time. Plus, you can get sucked into reading an article that appeared to be about the topic you were interested in, then end up totally off track and unsatisfying. Kind of like your diet. You might have the best of intentions but you get off track. We all do. This is when doing a body detox is a great idea.
I won’t claim to be able to give you ever tip or exhaustive information here in how to detox, but it will get you started toward more and useful guidance. First of all, think of a body detox as a way of cleansing not only your colon but the cells of your body of the toxins that have built up from a poor diet, drugs, pollution, etc. over the years. How you detox your body is by clearing out the stuff being blocked or backed up in your intestinal tract. So, largely this consists of ways of cleaning out your colon. This is achieved by eating more bulk – this means fiber – by way of eating more fruits and vegetables. While you are at it, make them organic. This is the whole point – getting rid of toxins! Then, it really comes down to adequate water intake and supplementation if you choose. There are many types of supplements so you will have to due your homework as to which one does what for the purposes that you would like.
