The thing about advertising is that they try to make you believe something that isn’t necessarily real. More often than not, what they showcase is an exaggeration of the truth. Unlike other commercial which try to respect the individual by stating what he or she should know about the product they are offering, other brands opt for flashy and over the top advertisements, such as those for Old Spice or Muscle Milk, which have nothing to do whatsoever with the product being endorsed.
The same applies especially for all purpose products like storage boxes. Manufacturers and makers would label different types of boxes for different purposes: decorative storage boxes, DVD storage boxes, decorative DVD storage boxes, etc. What these manufacturers would fail to mention is that all of their products are the same except for its name and a few of its dimensions.
You see, a decorative storage box is no different from a plastic storage box because it is made of the same tough material. The material, plastic, can withstand almost any object or density of material packed inside it. It is also assured that the objects stored inside the container is safe and protected from dust, water, and sometimes, prying eyes. It doesn’t matter if it contains DVDs or Jane Fonda figurines.
Another thing that is assured is that any room using these storage boxes become a little brighter because of the clutter that it cleans up, as well as more visually appealing as the box adds to the aesthetic value of any room where it is placed. It doesn’t matter if you used DVD storage box or a decorative plastic box with lids or however the manufacturers would market such objects.
Always remember to take everything with a pinch of salt. It doesn’t mean that if the commercial displays a man being chased by women, the same direct result would apply to you. Also, don’t be too distracted by commercials displaying muscled men riding on horses while talking in a smooth low voice to discern between a good deodorant from just an “ok” deodorant. Bottom line: ee through what people are trying to feed you and discern for yourself what you need, regardless of whether they be deodorants or storage boxes.
