One kitchen sink that looks great if you maintain it is a copper kitchen sink.
The main thing you have to worry about is cleaning your copper sink. It has to be treated with care. You cannot use pads or other abrasive cleaning supplies like other finishes. If you do the copper will scratch or dent.
Many homeowners with copper sinks say to just use warm water and a mild soap to clean them.
Also make sure you check the gauge of the copper. Low gauge copper is the best because it is least likely to get dents or scratch over time. The thin high gauge will break, scartch, and dent very easier than low gauge.
Copper kitchen sinks go great with traditional, antique, or farm style kitchen themes. If you decide to buy a copper kitchen sink get a thick gauge of around 14 for the sturdiest copper.
