Collecting Teddy Bears

Collecting teddy bears is a great hobby.  I’ve been doing it since I was a little kid and I started completely by accident.  When my older sister decided that she was too cool to have stuffed animals or dolls anymore, she asked me if I wanted any of them.  I was only 8 so I gladly took her impressive collection and added it to my own.

That was several years ago and I have continued to add to both my teddy bears and my dolls over time.  I recently had my collection appraised and my sister was more than a little jealous to hear that it was worth several thousand dollars.  Most of the valuable ones I had purchased on my own, but she did play a big part in getting my collection started.
