Coffee Tables Are Not Ottomans

I don’t know how many times I’ve seen people do this, it is really disgusting. Everyone knows that a coffee table sits between the sofa and the television in most living rooms but too many people seemed to think that a coffee table acts similar to an ottoman in that case. They put their feet all over it and get it all marked up and dirty when people eat off that!
The funny thing is that it doesn’t work the other way around. I’ve never seen anyone use an ottoman like a coffee table, putting their drinks on it or eating their food off of it. Ottomans are specifically for the feet and coffee tables are specifically for putting food and drinks on them (and the occassional coffee table book) but for some reason people think they are for their feet.
Get your feet off the table people! That’s dirty!
