Chest Acne

What is chest acne?
Chest acne affects about 54% of women and 40% of men. This condition is triggered by a variety of factors including menopause, birth control pills, stress, hormonal changes and genetic factors. Zits, pustules, whiteheads, blackheads, pimples and cysts are the common manifestation of chest acne.
The most common form of chest acne is acne vulgaris, which usually occurs in adolescence. However, it may also appear in adulthood as a result of hormone levels, the use of comedogenic cosmetics on the skin and sebaceous gland problems. The most important is to keep your pores clean in order to prevent chest acne.
If you already have this problem, wash the affected areas daily using an anti-bacterial soap with a salicylic acid-based cleanser. Avoid wearing tight fitting clothing and don’t use laundry detergents and cosmetic products containing oils. Don’t forget that chest acne is curable, so it’s up to you to get rid of it.
