Whenever you are trying to figure out what type of invitations you are going to have for your birthday party you should pick out what type of envelopes you are going to use first. This is important because you want to make sure you get the right size envelope to go with your invitation. Some people think that a 5 x 7 envelope would fit their 5 x 7 invitation but this is incorrect. You must allow for a certain amount of give whenever it comes to sizing and invitation for the envelope. The correct envelope size for an invitation like this would be 5 1/4 x 7 1/4. There are also many different size envelopes available in many different colors so it is a good idea to know what kind of envelopes you might like to use before picking out your invitations.
