If you’ve been around the internet any amount of time you’ve surely heard of blogging.  Two of the most popular blogging platforms today are Blogger, which is owned by Google, and WordPress.  So which comes out on top in the Blogger vs. WordPress battle?  Both platforms are great for blogging but each has its own specific strengths and weaknesses that might make it better suited for what you want to do.  If all you want is to blog, that is a daily journal, then Blogger is probably the platform for you.  It’s easy to use, clean looking and is fairly well SEO optimized.  You can change the layout easily and add or remove components you don’t need.  You can easily add Adsense if you want to monetize your blog.  Unfortunately you cannot host Blogger on your own servers.  Wordpress is a little more complex, but their are thousands of themes to use, and it’s highly customizable via free 3rd party plugins.  You can’t use monetize your free WordPress account, but you can host it on your own server then you can tweak it to your hearts content.
