Basic Fairy Halloween Costumes

In the mind of a little girl she imagines herself leaping among small animals in a meadow of flowers, a fairy in a magical land. Young girls love to dress up like fairies during Halloween to make this dream more of a reality. With a wand in hand, a little girl can imagine granting a wish to those she loves, just like fairies do in fairytales.
The lacey skirts and netted wings help them to imagine flying around with other fairy friends. This dream captivates a girl’s heart so completely that even older girls love to wear fairy costumes. Halloween gives these girls a time where they are allowed to once again grasp the dreams of their youth.
A basic Halloween green fairy costume is composed of five key parts. Firstly, a fluffy skirt that comes out just above the knees will make for exciting twirling. Next, matching tights will complement the skirt very well. Third, a wand is necessary for granting all the wishes of those she cares for most. Also, some sort of head dress is needed; a crown of flowers is quite popular as is a piece of brightly colored clip-in hair.
The final and most important piece of the costume is the wings, once the wings are put on it matters little what else the girl is wearing, she immediately will feel like a fairy flying through land of enchantment. These items can be complimented with face painting in green, blue, purple or pink to add to the fantasy.
Once the girl dons the complete woodland fairy costume she will feel the rush of flying through a charmed forest, laughing through the trees with other fairies. Granting not only the wishes of those she loves but her wishes as well, the wish to be in a place where magic is real and she is beautiful.
