Apple Cider Vinegar Diet – A Scam?

Posted by in Health & Fitness

With so many fad diets popping up all the time, it makes it really difficult to separate the truth from the scams. On that I just heard about recently is the apple cider vinegar diet. According to the people that rave about it, all you need to do is have two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar, mixed with a cup of water, during every meal. The theory is that the vinegar bonds to the fatty acids in your stomach, helping you to excrete them easier.

The recommendation is to use organic apple cider vinegar, because the other stuff is heated up and loses a lot of its beneficial elements. I personally haven’t tried it, and am a little sceptical to tell you the truth. Call me old fashioned, but I reckon if you really want to lose weight, you should eat healthy and exercise more. Anyway, I can’t stand the taste of the vinegar, even when it’s watered down, so I think I’ll be giving this one a mess.
